Mastering Curves in Photoshop. https://photoshopcafe.com/shop/mastering-curves-in-photoshop-video-based-training-course/ https://photoshopcafe.com/shop/mastering-curves-in-photoshop-video-based-training-course/#comments Fri, 11 Mar 2022 01:05:12 +0000 http://photoshopcafe.com/?post_type=product&p=51272 Mastering Curves, Photoshop's most powerful tool.

Curves are one of the most powerful features in Photoshop. They allow you to target the exact tones of your images and change them with precision in a way no other tool can. Curves also offer unparalleled control over every aspect of color in your images.

For all  Photoshop versions CS4-2023

This is why pros spend a lot of time in curves and use them as go-to tools for retouching, photography and design. The challenge is curves appear difficult to figure out and a lot of the advanced functionality is shrouded in secrecy.

The purpose of this course it to help you understand exactly how curves work, and unlock the secret workflows and techniques. You will use the power of curves to give your images that professional, polished look that can only be achieved through this powerful and wildly creative tool.

Colin Smith is one of the world’s leading Photoshop experts (he does training for Adobe, Apple and Disney) and has used Photoshop professionally for almost 30 years. He uses curves daily, and will impart this knowledge to you quickly, without fluff. He has a special gift to break down complex tasks into fun and easy to understand methods, in plain English. You could be mistaken for thinking curves are easy, because that’s how you will feel by the end of this course.

This course will help you to finally “get” curves and be using them natively as part of your workflow. You will approach your images differently, with the confidence to make the tones and colors look exactly like you dreamt of. You will understand curves and learn lots of hidden tricks and techniques, you didn’t even know existed.

This is a course Colin has been wanting to create for a long time, and he is proud to now get this training into your hands, so you can take the next step in your Photoshop journey. By the way, Curves aren’t unique to Photoshop. A lot of what you learn here will transfer over to many other software packages.

You owe it to yourself, your clients, and images to finally master Curves in Photoshop

    Photoshop 2020 Selection Secrets https://photoshopcafe.com/shop/photoshop-cc-selection-secrets/ https://photoshopcafe.com/shop/photoshop-cc-selection-secrets/#comments Tue, 16 Jul 2019 20:57:07 +0000 http://photoshopcafe.com/?post_type=product&p=31956 Master Selections and Masks in Photoshop 2020

(For Photoshop 2020 works on newer versions too) - (16 lessons work for CS6)

If you have ever struggled with selections in Photoshop (we all have), this is the tutorial you have been searching for. These 19 lessons get straight to the point and teach you exactly what you need to know. All photos aren’t the same, and neither should be the way you select them.

Out of all the tasks in Photoshop. The #1 place where people struggle is with selections. Even simple cutout tasks can be challenging, hair has pieces missing, the edges are not clean, and it feels like you are spending too much time trying to cut things out. And the pen tool? How is it supposed to work again?

We get it! This can be very frustrating. Everyone hates wasting time with tools that don’t seem to work. Maybe you saw a tutorial, but it didn’t work on the photo you were using, or worse, it looked ok on a tiny screen, but didn’t hold up on close examination (AKA The real-world).

For 20 years, working with demanding clients from Hollywood to Silicon Valley, Colin Smith (Winner of 3 Guru awards + author of 20 books) has dealt with almost every selection challenge you can imagine. The trick is having multiple techniques in your “Photoshop toolbelt” and using the best tool for each job. Not just using the tools correctly, but also knowing the trade secrets. You know, the hidden modifiers and tips that make the tools work the way they should and how to combine the techniques for rapid cutouts.

Colin has figured out which tools work the best and which are a waste of time. (Hint, forget the magnetic lasso tool and background eraser). In a friendly, conversational manner, you will learn battle-tested selection and masking techniques, the same ones used by today’s top pros.

Learn how to tackle trees, hair, complex shapes and even transparency with confidence. Colin shows “brute force” techniques that will enable you to cut out anything, even with very busy and muddled backgrounds. Lots of insider tips and tricks are sprinkled throughout to make some tasks surprisingly easy and quick.

If you combine the techniques demonstrated in this almost 4 hour master class on selections, you will never have to fear a selection task again. This is suitable for beginners through advanced users. All the lesson files are included, so you can follow along step by step. This isn’t anything like sitting in a classroom, listening to a lecture, It’s more like sitting next to Colin in his studio and working with him.
